Session Fee: The session fee must be paid in full at the time of booking. Your session fee is used to secure your booking with us.
Your session fee includes An in-person or over-the-phone design consultation Session time- 2-4 hours (depending on session type) Wardrobe styling Use of all props and accessories Detailed editing of 20 images In-person private gallery reveal The session fee does not include any products or digitals.
Pricing: Any quotes prepared by Buttons & Bows Photography shall remain valid for 24 hours. Buttons & Bows Photography holds the right to make changes to the pricing structure without notice.
Cancelation: In the event of an illness or misadventure, please call as soon as possible to reschedule. Buttons & Bows Photography maintains the right to reschedule at any time should it become necessary but will do our upmost to negotiate a mutual acceptable rebooking. The request must be made no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled booking.
Rescheduling/ Late Arrivals: In the event that the Client requests to reschedule a session, the retainer shall be applied to a rescheduled session if notice is given at least 14 days prior to the schedule event. Reschedule must be within the same calendar year. Any Client that is late arriving to the session will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the session.
Subjects: The Client shall maintain control of all subjects including siblings. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure the cooperation of additional subjects as not to intrude on the immediate photography area. The Client shall provide all necessary controls over additional subjects.
Circumstances: If the Photographer is unable to perform the session due to subjects not cooperating, subjects disposition, weather condition, or circumstances not listed within this contract, the Client shall be allowed to reschedule at Photographer’s discretion.
Electronic Devices: Photography using Cameras, phone cameras, and video are not permitted during any session unless approved by the Photographer or Buttons & Bows Photography. Your Photographer will kindly stop services if cameras are used.
Raw images: Buttons & Bows Photography does not deliver images that have not been edited to the highest professional standard and to the style of their portfolio
Payment: Buttons & Bows Photography will not start any gallery retouching/editing on finalised images until all payments have been finalised.
Photographic Materials: All photographic materials, including but not limited to negatives, transparencies, proofs, and previews, shall be the exclusive property of Buttons & Bows Photography. The Photographer shall make gallery proofs available through an online gallery proofing website or through an in-person ordering session. These proofs shall be available to the Client within 3 weeks of the session.
Digital images: The photographer shall provide you with assistance if required in choosing images. Standard Resolution Digitials are printable to 8x10/12 inches. High Resolution Digitals are printable to 40x60 inches. If the Client requests to extend the time or reopen the gallery, a $50 archival fee shall apply.
Artistic Rights: The Photographer retains the right of discretion in selecting the photographic materials released to the client.
Model Release/Copyright: Buttons & Bows Photography retains the copyright on all images and reserves the right to use the images for advertising, display, publication, social media and/or other purposes for our portfolio. The client signing this contract warrants that he or she has actual authority to agree to the use of the likeness of all persons included in the portrait in this manner and shall indemnify and defend the photographer in the event of litigation arising out of such use.
Digital files and previews remain the exclusive property of Buttons & Bows Photography. Under no circumstances, can a client use these images for profit, commercial endeavours, professional display, or in competition. Copying, screenshooting, saving or scanning images from the clients gallery, Buttons & Bows Photography website, or social media sites is considered stealing, regardless of the intent for use. If client steals images via any method listed above, or any other method, client will be invoiced
Social Media: The Client may share blog post links and Facebook albums through use of the share functions and dissemination of direct links. Client shall not copy, download, screen shot, or capture the photographs in any other fashion.
Client’s Usage: The Client shall only use the prints, including digital files, in accordance with the permissions within this agreement. The Client’s prints are for personal use only and shall not be submitted to contests, reproduced for commercial use or authorise any reproductions by parties other than Buttons & Bows Photography. If the Buttons & Bows Photography provides a digital file print release, the Client must act in accordance with the release.
Liability: The client is aware if they choose to print their images through a personal chosen lab that the quality of the end result print of the digital files delivered is not under the control of Buttons & Bows Photography and frees Buttons & Bows Photography from any liability for any potential claims whatsoever based upon discolouration in the end result.
If Buttons & Bows Photography cannot fulfil this contract due to fire or other causality, or beyond the control of the photographer, or due to the photographer’s illness or emergency, then Buttons & Bows Photography shall return any retainer or sitting fee to the client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply if the Photographer is unable to deliver photographic materials due to technological malfunctions.
Buttons & Bows Photography is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business.
Photographer: Buttons & Bows Photography reserves the right to substitute with another photographer. The substitute photographer is chosen at the discretion of the Photographer and does not constitute a breach of this agreement. Buttons & Bows Photography warrants the substitute photographer to be of comparable quality and professionalism.
Travel Fees: The Client shall pay $.80 per kilometre outside a 20 kilometre radius of the studio located in Springfield Lakes (Buttons & Bows Photography).
